susan elizabeth

Susan Elizabeth is a musician/singer/songwriter based just outside NYC. She began singing and playing piano at age 6, picked up the guitar at 11, and started writing her own songs when she turned 15. In 1996, she won a college scholarship for her song “Run Run (Too Far From Me).” Almost 20 years ago, she formed the pop-rock band Paige 23 (performing under the stage name Paige). Paige 23’s first album, “Let Yourself Fall,” was released under ACM Records in 2002. Songs from the album were featured on shows such as “Ed” and “Medium.” In 2005, the band independently released their second album, “In Retrospect,” and decided to split shortly after. The album was re-released under ACM Records in 2012.

While with Paige 23, she spent time playing guitar and keyboard, singing, and writing with numerous other acts in NYC, including Laura Monaco-Martino of ET Studio Productions and an all-girl Rolling Stones cover band. Susan continued writing and experimenting with different styles of music, finding a new artistic voice in folk, electronica, and other types of dance music. In 2009, she released “Wine and Cigarettes” (re-released by ACM Records as “Jones for This” in 2012), and received high accolades from e-zines, blogs, and magazines. At the same time, she recorded and produced “B-Sides and Seasides”, an EP of songs that didn’t make it in time for the “Jones for This” album.

Currently, Susan is helping ET Studio Productions with their social media presence and writing songs. A collection of songs she calls “Girls and Boys” is on her hard drive (and she promises to release it someday!). She continues to adore her songwriting idols The Beatles, Billy Joel, Butch Walker, Ed Sheeran, Imogen Heap, and Taylor Swift.
